Terms & Conditions

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms cover bookings, workshop work and online purchases from Madhouse Motor Company. They don't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Quotes and extra work

Quotes are based on the information we have when we give them. If we find more work is needed once the car is in, we'll contact you with a price and won't carry it out without your approval.

Bookings

A booking request isn't confirmed until we contact you to confirm it. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Where a deposit has been taken, the terms shown at checkout apply.

Payment and collection

Payment is due when the work is finished and before the vehicle is collected, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. We may keep the vehicle until outstanding charges are paid.

If a vehicle isn't collected within 14 days of us telling you it's ready, we may charge a reasonable storage fee, after first giving you notice.

Parts and workmanship

We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. Parts come with their manufacturer's warranty. If you think something we did isn't right, contact us straight away so we can inspect and put it right.

Performance modifications can affect your insurance, warranty and emissions compliance. It's your responsibility to declare modifications to your insurer.

Customer-supplied parts

We may agree to fit parts you supply, but we can't warrant those parts, or any labour needed because they're faulty or the wrong part.

Online shop orders

If you buy goods online, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel and return unused items in their original condition, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Items made or ordered to your specification, and parts that have been fitted, can't be returned unless they're faulty.
