A cheap upgrade that improves pedal feel
Old rubber hoses swell slightly under hard braking, which feels like a soft or long pedal. Braided lines cut that down, and they are one of the cheapest brake upgrades you can make. They only help if the fluid is fresh, so we always bleed the system with new fluid after fitting them.
