Towbar fitting in Fleet
We supply and fit towbars for Fleet and Church Crookham from the Bracknell workshop, about twelve miles via the M3. Many of the cars we fit for Fleet drivers are newer models still under warranty, so we give the wiring as much care as the bar.

Towbars, wiring kits and your warranty
A type-approved towbar, fitted to the car maker's mounting points with the correct wiring kit, should not affect your manufacturer warranty. Keep the invoice, which shows the part numbers and type approval. The wiring is where shortcuts cause trouble. Modern cars run their lights through electronic control units, and a cheap universal kit spliced into the wrong circuit can cause faults that are hard to trace. A dedicated kit plugs into the car properly and, on many cars, is coded so the car knows a trailer is attached.
We also cover Church Crookham, Elvetham Heath, Crookham Village, Ancells Farm and Dogmersfield, all within a short run of the workshop.
Towbar fitting in Fleet — common questions
- Do you fit towbars in Fleet?
- Yes. We are in Bracknell, about twelve miles from Fleet via the M3 junction 4a. Most fittings take a day.
- Will a towbar void my car's warranty?
- Not if it is a type-approved bar fitted correctly with the right wiring. Keep the invoice with the part numbers and approval details in case you need it.
- What is the difference between a dedicated and a universal wiring kit?
- A dedicated kit is made for your car and connects to its electrics properly, often with coding so features like the rear sensors and stability control know a trailer is attached. A universal kit is cheaper but does less. We will recommend what your car needs.
- How much does towbar fitting cost?
- Fitting is £120 for the job, not per part, so the bar and the wiring go on in the same visit for that one price. The bar and wiring kit are quoted on top and you'll see the full total before paying anything.
- Can you fit a towbar I've already bought?
- Yes. We'll fit a bar bought elsewhere, wire it in and test it. Give us the part number when you book so we can confirm the labour first.
