Our advice
Cooling first, power second
On a tuned turbo car, a bigger intercooler often matters more than more boost, because cooler intake air keeps the power consistent on hot days and repeated runs. Silicone hoses also stop the old rubber ones splitting under higher boost. We pressure-test the system for leaks after fitting.

Do I need an intercooler upgrade with a remap?
For a mild Stage 1, often not. As the power goes up, or if the car loses power on hot days or repeated hard runs, an uprated intercooler is usually worth it.
