Spacers need the right bolts
Wheel spacers push the wheels out to fill the arches, but they change the bolt length the wheel needs. The wrong bolts are a real safety risk. We fit spacers with the correct bolts or studs, torque them properly, and check the tyre clears the arch at full lock and full compression.

Good-quality hub-centric spacers with the correct bolts, torqued properly, are fine. Cheap spacers or reused original bolts are where problems start.
